2  لقاء اجنايت جدة 

هي عبارة عن لقاءات جماهيرية شبابية تعرض خبرات وتجارب ومواضيع متنوعة للإثراء المعرفي،تتميز بعرض سريع في قالب ملهم. بحيث تكون مدة العرض ٥ دقائق فقط  بطريقة عرض الشرائح الآلية
(شريحة كل 15 ثانية  × 20  = 5 دقائق من الإبداع).
 انتشرت الفكرة من مدينة سياتل ثم في مختلف أنحاء أمريكا الشمالية ، ووصلت لاحقا لمدن في كل قارات العالم. تقام ثاني فعالية من هذا النوع في جدة في جامعة عفت للمرة الثانية على التوالي في المملكة العربيه السعودية حيث أقيم أول مره في الظهران بتنظيم من أرامكو السعودية.

Ignite is a fast-paced geek event started by Brady Forrest, Technology Evangelist for O'Reilly Media, and Bre Pettis of Makerbot.com, formerly of MAKE Magazine. Speakers are given 20 slides, each shown for 15 seconds, giving each speaker 5 minutes of fame. The first Ignite took place in Seattle in 2006, and since then the event has become an international phenomenon, with gatherings in Helsinki, Finland; Paris, France; New York, New York; and many other locations.
